Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). At Ursinus, we focus on the one-to-one friendship pillar with individuals who have IDD at Ursinus and in the community. An individual with IDDs is matched with an individual without IDDs to form a buddy pair for the school year, and often these friendships last long after college! We have events once a month on Sundays and love to play bingo, make crafts, and form long lasting friendships!
