Director, Health Promotion

Katie Bean is the first Director of Health Promotion at Ursinus College. She drives systems-based strategies to enhance well-being for all at the College. 

Background

Katie Bean received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Criminology and Women’s Studies minors from Millersville University, her master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her post-master’s certificate in Counseling from George Washington University.  She is also a certified Yoga teacher and brings concepts of holistic health and well-being into all of her interactions with students.  Katie resides in Phoenixville, PA.
