About

Dan Mullen ’94 has a passion for college football. As head football coach at Mississippi State University, Coach Mullen has helped set attendance records for the Division I Bulldogs, who play in the nation’s highly competitive Southeastern Conference (SEC). His team is currently sitting on top of the national rankings.

After graduating from Ursinus, Coach Mullen took a job as a graduate assistant at the University of Notre Dame, then went on to become offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for the University of Florida Gators. There, he mentored a Heisman Trophy winner and played an integral role in the Gators’ 2006 national championship. At Ursinus, he was a football tight end, earning first-team All-Centennial Conference honors.

Dan Mullen, a 1994 Ursinus College graduate and former head coach at Mississippi State and Florida, has been named head football coach at UNLV, bringing with him a 103-61 career record and a legacy of coaching success, including leading 76 players to the NFL.
