Naz’hae Singleton
Naz’hae was born in West Philadelphia and serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Ursinus. Naz’hae supervises Resident Advisors (RAs), plans move-in, move-out, room selection, programs for residents, assists students with their transition to Ursinus, and creates environments where residence halls feel like home for all students.
She holds a master’s degree in higher education leadership from Drexel University. Her research and thesis focused on low-income, first-generation college students and their adjustment to college life. She is passionate about fostering spaces where all students feel heard, comfortable, and supported.
Background
Naz’hae has been in student affairs for 8 years. After being extremely involved in student affairs throughout her undergraduate career, Naz’hae decided to pursue her master’s degree in higher education. Naz’hae was previously a Community Director at American University, an Assistant Director of Residence Life at Immaculata University, and the Director of Residence Life at Trinity Washington University.
