Rodger Ferguson ’83
How do we make our world a better place? For Rodger Ferguson ’83, that means, most literally, improving the environment. He is president of PennJersey Environmental Consulting, a firm that helps industries, businesses, and municipalities manage their environmental needs. They specialize in site assessment and remediation and employ professionals who represent a range of knowledge areas including meteorology, geology, environmental science, biology, engineering, public health, and chemistry.
Ferguson is also a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and, with over 39 years of experience in his field, is a highly regarded subject-matter expert who is regularly called upon to provide litigation support on a number of environmental remediation-related matters.
Ferguson credits the college for teaching him to think critically and with opening the door for him to find a fulfilling and high-impact career. He was a scholarship recipient as a student and today sponsors the Rodger Ferguson ’83 and Suzanne Macaoay Ferguson Annual Scholarship, which he established with his late wife, who was an environmental geologist.
