NEWS ALERT: Ursinus College has joined the College Cost Transparency Initiative as a partner institution!

Ursinus College has made a commitment to employ the principles and standards of the College Cost Transparency (CCT) Initiative to help ensure that prospective and current student financial aid offers are communicated in a manner that is clear, accurate and helpful. By adhering to these principles and standards, we aim to provide transparent and reliable information to students and their families, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their financial obligations and educational choices. This commitment underscores Ursinus’s dedication to promoting fairness, accessibility, and clarity in the financial aid process, ultimately contributing to a more equitable higher education landscape.

A Helping Hand

Scholarship Opportunities

Approximately 99 percent of all Ursinus students receive some form of assistance. For 2023-2024 Ursinus administered over $82 million in financial aid—nearly $56 million in the form of institutional scholarships and grants that do not have to be repaid. The funding for our institutional scholarships are partially underwritten by generous Ursinus alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations. Thousands of supporters are stepping up each year to help you afford Ursinus.

In addition to providing instruction and counseling on applying for need-based financial aid and determining eligibility for such funding, our office provides guidance on financing the cost of an Ursinus education via private student and parent loans and payment plans as well as information relating to bill charges, payments and federal student loans.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Students can apply for admission prior to completing the FAFSA. If you do not intend to apply for need-based financial aid, you do not need to complete a FAFSA and will only need to apply for admission to the college.
