Student Engagement offers students leadership opportunities through more than 80 student clubs and organizations. Clubs and organizations range from student government to the arts, community service and Greek Life, affording everyone a niche in which to participate. In addition, Student Engagement offers programs, resources, and services intended to contribute to the social, educational and cultural learning at Ursinus College.

Club SPOTLIGHT: Escape Velocity

Escape Velocity is Ursinus’ student-run dance company that produces fall and spring showcases composed entirely of student choreography. Our shows feature a multitude of styles, including tap, jazz, contemporary, Irish, hip-hop, and more! We welcome dancers with any level of experience and have numbers suitable for each individual’s dance background. Escape Velocity members are granted the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Black Box Studio Theatre, have pieces with personalized lighting designs, and collaborate with fellow students to create unforgettable dance performances. Escape Velocity would love to have new members join our vibrant student-driven club!
