Admitted Ursinus students are eligible to apply for the AMDG 1933 Foundation Scholarship. Ursinus is one of only two colleges whose students are eligible for this award.
The number of recipients and the amount of the scholarship vary year to year based on the strength of the applicant pool. This scholarship would be in addition to your Ursinus College scholarships and aid, provided it does not exceed your total cost of tuition. The scholarship is for one year only, current recipients can reapply and be considered for additional funding along with other new applicants.
First-year applicants must be within the top 15% of their high school class, or equivalent, and have demonstrated financial need. Rising Ursinus students and transfer applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Preference is given to students interested in art, art history, or applied economics, and applicants must reside in the Greater Philadelphia area, which includes the counties of Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, and Delaware, or the states of New Jersey or Delaware.
