Main Street Federal Funding

Ursinus was awarded $1 million in funding through the U.S. Congress's Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) request program to support the revitalization of the 400 block of the Main Street corridor, planned with the Borough of Collegeville. This is the first time in Ursinus history that the college received federal CDS funding.

AICUP Board of Directors

President Hannigan is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP) Board of Directors, playing a pivotal role in AICUP's decision-making process and ensuring best-interest action for the state's independent colleges and universities.

Human Trafficking Panel

In collaboration with Joe Webster, President Hannigan hosted a panel to discuss human trafficking and its root causes. The event featured experts from law enforcement and victim support services, focusing on advocacy and empowerment for victims.

Improving Stormwater Impacts

President Hannigan has provided key testimony regarding stormwater management and its impact on infrastructure in the local community, uniquely positioning Ursinus and its faculty, staff, and student researchers as key resources to help improve stormwater impacts .
