There are 6 dimensions of health that are all intertwined and impact one another. Students should consider ways to balance their lifestyle and habits within all 6 dimensions. See below for a sampling of UC resources that would fall under each category.
- Individual counseling services are provided at the Wellness Center with a Crisis Hour taking place each weekday from 2-3 p.m. Also, visit their website to see all the resources they provide, including group therapy sessions that run each semester. You can also complete a webform to invite the Wellness Center Staff to facilitate a workshop with your group, team or organization.
- Individuals can participate in individual Health and Wellbeing Coaching offered by Prevention and Advocacy staff. Coaching consists of private appointments to set goals, increase motivation, or address a specific wellness-based issue. Complete this intake form to sign up for a coaching session.
- Check out the events throughout the semester offered by our office that include a variety of options such as How to Avoid Burnout, Developing Healthy Habits, and even Kahoot Games where you can win prizes for your knowledge of health and well-being.

- Thrive is a group therapy session taking place on Thursdays at 2pm and New Perspectives is a group therapy session taking place on Fridays at 11am. You don’t need to RSVP - just show up any week you’re free at the Hive group room.
- Let’s Talk is another way to engage with therapists on campus without having to schedule an appointment. Show up anytime they are hosting - which is typically one or more times a week! Check the calendar for dates.

- There are many ways to relieve stress and stay physically active at the Fitness Center
- Intramural Sports provide a great opportunity to have fun with friends in a physical environment
- Get outside and go for a walk on the Perkiomen Trail which has an entrance on campus!

For students in recovery, finding a social network and supportive peer group is critical. Check out the options available for students in recovery, and those with loved ones in recovery.
- An All-Recovery Meeting takes place in the Hive every Friday from 7-8pm.
- The Institute for Inclusion and Equity provides social gatherings and dialogues on a variety of critical topics and many student organizations are advised through this institute
- There are tons of student organizations to get involved with including Greek Life and there are lots of fun and late night events and program - all are organized under Student Engagement
- Radiance is the campus’s LGBTQ+ Community Resource Center within the Institute for Inclusion and Equity
- Is Drinking In Your Job Description? is a workshop offered for upperclassmen who are seeking internships, are in internships, or are considering how alcohol in the workplace should be handled during holiday parties, work happy hours, and even interviews. - What’s the Buzz is our weekly food, fun, and fellowship group offering resources for recovery and activities for building coping strategies each week. Check the events calendar for weekly topics.

Event Director Training is open to upperclassmen to learn how to host events with alcohol in a fun and safe way and is open now on Canvas. Complete part 1 online to get into the in-person training and become certified as an Event Director.
- There will be 4 training sessions during the semester. Reach out to healthpromotion@ursinus.edu if you don’t have access to the Canvas Course.
- There are weekly chapel services, interfaith dialogues, and spiritual direction provided by the Office of the Chaplain . Check out the Spiritual Formation and Service Opportunities available through the office
- Meditation is offered in the Buddhist tradition every week in the Meditation Room in Bomberger. Check the events calendar for the day/time as it changes each semester.
- Yoga Asana classes are a great way to bring the body, mind, and spirit together in a reflective practice. There are options in person including Wednesday nights at 7pm in the Hive and online including Breathe and Be on Tuesdays at 915am.

- Academic Coaching is an opportunity to focus on your intellectual wellness and improve your knowledge, performance, and production as a student.
- You can meet with peers individually or in groups to get assistance with your writing at the Center for Writing and Speaking.
- Resources are available all year long for students at the Career and Post-Graduate Development Center including job fairs, resume help, interview assistance, career coaching, and much more.
The Quest: The Core Curriculum is based on the 4 Open Questions. The Division of Health and Wellness, and all departments outside of academics, strive to incorporate these questions outside of the classroom and in their events and programs.

- There are a variety of resources across campus to help students meet their basic needs including free clothing (professional and casual), free home goods, accessories, books and market items via BearShare, free personal care and hygiene items, and emergency financial support.
