Ursinus has earned the Seal of Prevention for the last 4 years in a row!

This recognition is given to institutions who prioritize safety, well-being, and inclusion for their community. Only 12% of colleges have earned the Seal of Prevention this year. Ursinus has earned it in 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024.

2024 Seal of Prevention

Ursinus was the 1st Liberal Arts College and 11th College in the country to adopt the Okanagan Charter.

When President Hannigan adopted the Okanagan Charter in 2022, she formalized our institution-wide commitment to enhancing the well-being of People, Place, and Planet.
Ursinus is one of only 32 colleges in the country who has adopted the charter and is among 232 colleges who are recognized as a Health-Promoting Campus.
