Assessment of the core curriculum is a continuous process using results of previous assessment to inform the next phase. As such, the following schedule was designed to ensure that each learning goal will be assessed at least once every four years. The cycle for the learning goal assessment was informed by faculty discussions of the results of the 2015 core assessment, recommendations for next steps in the process, and in consultation with the Outcomes Assessment Committee.
The Common Intellectual Experience (CIE) assesses learning goals annually and reports via the Academic Department Annual Report process.
