Brock Blomberg, who has led Ursinus College since his inauguration in 2015 and shepherded the institution through its 150th anniversary and a bold strategic plan, announced that he will step down as president on Sept. 1. He will become president of the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco.

One Year Later, Class of 2020 Comes Home for In-Person Commencement
Last spring, the members of the Ursinus Class of 2020 did not have an opportunity to participate in the college’s most revered tradition: commencement. The global COVID-19 pandemic forced them to complete their undergraduate careers by learning remotely, and instead of celebrating on campus with friends and loved ones, they watched remarks and well-wishes on computer screens and mobile devices.
The Ursinus Classes of 2021 and 2020 graduated during commencement weekend on May 15 and 16, 2021.
Class of 2021 Celebrates Commencement to Cap Uniquely Historic Academic Year
On Patterson Field, in front of a limited number of guests who were masked and physically distanced—and while a virtual audience tuned in via livestream—the Ursinus College Class of 2021 brought their undergraduate careers to a close on Saturday, May 15, marking the end of an academic year that was challenging, unique, and historic.
