Lizzy Feeney

Shortly after graduation, I was offered and accepted a full time position at Four Winds Hospital, an inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Westchester County, NY. I work as a Mental Health Worker, or a mental health technician. The job comes with a handful of responsibilities such as offering therapeutic care to patients, attending programs and therapy sessions with patients, and overall assisting them in their daily living in accordance with their treatment. I’m considering going for my masters in social work within the next year as well. It has been fascinating to see what I’ve learned in my psychology classes at Ursinus be applied to real life scenarios!
