Julia Paiano ’23

I am currently a Graduate Student at Villanova University pursuing an M.A. in Communication. At Villanova, I am a Graduate Assistant for the Honors Program where I oversee student groups, manage social media and emails, and collaborate with team members on contributions to the strategic plan. I am also a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern at ASM Global and have been with them since April 2024.

Prepared and Ready for Graduate School

My professors in the MCS program, specifically Dr. Edwards and Dr. Leppert helped me understand how to navigate different perspectives while engaging with topics that may be unfamiliar or beyond my interests. The media production courses with Dr. E helped me refine my storytelling skills to create narratives in ways that are exciting and engaging for audiences.

After completing my master’s program I hope to pursue a career path that emphasizes the interdisciplinary skillset of creativity and academia that I acquired while at Ursinus and that allows me to make an impact on the communities I work in.
