Alyssa Tindall
Dr. Tindall is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and earned a dual-title PhD in Nutritional Sciences and Clinical and Translational Science at the Pennsylvania State University. She completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellowship and worked as a Scientist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Tindall also held adjunct instructor roles at Drexel University and the Pennsylvania State University before joining Ursinus College faculty. Her goal as an educator is to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students learn, question, and practice as individuals and members of a community. Dr. Tindall’s research focuses on understanding the influence of cultural, demographic, and socioeconomic characteristics on diet patterns and the impact of diet interventions on food patterns and health outcomes.
