About

As a pre-law student, I find the intersection of science and the common good to be vital to the success of our country. It’s important to pay attention to the way these two fields impact each other so that we can work towards the collective objective of improving the lives of those around us with evidence-based research.

My Experience

For my Parlee XLP, I studied abroad in London, England, where I worked for a legal advice firm that helped people in the sectors of debt, housing, and employment. I had to combine the research and analytical skills I learned from my Ursinus science courses to investigate and advocate for claims. Oftentimes this meant researching local housing laws or employment discrimination schemes in England to defend the impoverished, homeless, and unemployed.
