Jack Hopey

Digital Communication Specialist

Jack creates video and photo content for the college’s social media, news hub, and key publications. He pulls on the exemplary talents and passions of students, staff, and faculty to tell the Ursinus story with compelling video features about a small school with an enormous impact.

Background

Jack has been producing photo and video content ever since middle school. In 2019, he graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. Jack previously worked as a digital producer for an executive search firm and a creative producer for a television station in Ohio.

Outside of work, Jack is very active in the marching arts community. He is currently marching with the Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps, and has performed with several groups prior. He has also toured across the country with several drum & bugle corps producing photo and video content.

Jack’s favorite movie is the award-winning 2000 animated film, “The Emperor’s New Groove”.
