Jordan Scharaga ’17

Director of Office of Protocol and Special Events

As the Director of the Office of Protocol and Special Events, Jordan manages special events and initiatives for the President as well as high-level, college-wide events.  She will ensure that high standards and College priorities are reflected in all areas and will interact with all levels of College constituencies while maintaining professionalism and a service-oriented approach.

Background

Jordan Scharaga is a proud alumna of Ursinus College. She joined the College as a member of the Conferences and Special Events team in 2018 before she moved to the College Events and Signature Programs team under the advancement office in 2020.

Jordan is excited to continue to build the standard of excellence for event planning and engagement through the Office of Protocol and Special Events.

She previously worked in the hospitality and theater industry as a House Manager at the Bucks County Playhouse and a manager as a small business in Collingswood, NJ.

Jordan is happy to be back at Ursinus where she can combine her love of community, events and the liberal arts.

She lives in Collegeville and enjoys hiking with her dog Bruce.
