Chloe Rivera-Montes (she/her/hers)
I joined the Peer Advocates because I have always wanted to be a support system for my peers. The umbrella of Title IX can be very intimidating and confusing. As a peer advocate, I want to teach the members of my community about the resources and support available to them. The message of safe sex, consent, and healthy relationships, both romantic and platonic, that the Peer Advocates teach has always been important to me. By being a Peer Advocate I can teach my campus about safety, sex, and gender-based discrimination, and sexual assault, and what they can do to support themselves and their peers.
