Janel Forsythe

Janel Forsythe graduated from Ursinus College in 2015 with a BA. She double majored in Sociology & Media and Communication Studies. Some extracurricular activities Janel participated in during college include: Voices In Praise Gospel Choir; the Teaching and Learning Initiative; UC Writing Fellows; and The Grizzly Newspaper. After studying at Ursinus, she completed a MSc degree in Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Janel currently works as a communications professional. Some roles she’s had include being a Media Associate at Campaign Legal Center, a consultant for UpShift Strategies, and a Social Media Editor for the Project On Government Oversight. She believes in the power of communications to help people understand the issues impacting their lives locally, nationally, and internationally. In her free time, Janel enjoys following current events, traveling, visiting art museums, going to happy hours, and listening to world music.
