I wanted to be a peer advocate to help educate my community and to do my part in men having an understanding of the importance of title IX and title IX related issues on campus. Sex and gender based discrimination and harassment are not issues that can be addressed without the active participation and education of all members of our community, and I wanted to take an active step in supporting my peers in this effort.
