Alyssa Kratz

Communications Specialist

As the department’s Communications Specialist, Alyssa is the main producer of editorial content for Ursinus College, including news and publications to elevate the reach and reputation of the college. She also serves as a liaison between departments and the Marketing and Communications team, overseeing internal communications which articulate key information regarding procedures and policies impacting faculty and staff.

Background

Alyssa joined the Marketing and Communications team in January 2025, after 7.5 years working in local news. She comes to Ursinus from FOX43, where she spent three years as a reporter and anchor covering the greater Harrisburg region. Alyssa started her broadcast career at Blue Ridge Cable TV-13 in the Poconos, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College. She was born and raised in Montgomery County and is excited to be back home!

 

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, finding new spots to eat, binge-watching The Office, and cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams. Go Birds!
