Tip for the college search
Take time to relax. The application process can feel overwhelming when you’re in the middle of it, but everything will work out in the end.
Ursinus is a great place for…
Discovering interests you never knew you had. Whether you’ve known what you wanted to be since you were 5 or you’re coming in with no clue, Ursinus’s curriculum is designed to push you to explore new territory
Background
I grew up and live just 10 minutes away in Schwenksville, or even Collegeville depending on who you ask. Ursinus and I have history – both my mother and my sister went to Ursinus. I wanted to get further away, though, so I got my BA in Russian with a philosophy concentration from Kenyon College in Ohio. After college, I lived and taught English in Kyrgyzstan for a school year. I then moved to Brooklyn for a year, where I worked as a barback and as an intern for the International Rescue Committee. I’m now thrilled to be at Ursinus, connecting students to the same liberal arts experience that had such an impact on my mother, sister, and me!
Education
Kenyon College, B.A. in Russian and Philosophy
