Where I Studied

I studied abroad in Seville, Spain twice during time at Ursinus. The summer after my freshman year I went to Seville for one month and loved it so much I decided to return in the spring of my sophomore year to study there the entire semester. It was absolutely the best decision I made in college.

My Experience

In Spain, I was able to practice my Spanish ever day which allowed me to become near fluent in the language. I explored one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Seville, where I became friends with many locals who showed me the best spots in the city. I played soccer for a local team and participated in the Seville Futbol7 tournament.

Living with a host family let me develop life-long connections to Seville and as they put it “a place to stay every time I’m in Seville.” I even travelled to Morocco while I was abroad which exposed me to a culture completely foreign to me.

My time abroad can be summarized in laughter, meeting great individuals, exploring, and of course studying! I ask everyone thinking about studying abroad to take the leap of faith with no fear and an open mind because it will be an experience you will cherish your entire life.
