
Nine Students Among the 2025 Beloved Community Award Recipients.
Nine students and one faculty member among those honored at the 2025 Beloved Community Awards on Tuesday, March 25.
In 2020, the college began a tradition of presenting the Beloved Community Awards. The first awards were for Inclusion, recognizing those who made significant contributions to creating an inclusive campus. In 2023, the Sycamore Community Engagement Award was added to acknowledge work that happens in communities beyond the college. .
Each year the campus community is asked to nominate students, staff, faculty, partner organizations, and members of the community to receive these well-deserved awards. Winners are selected from campus-wide nominations. Ursinus President, Robyn Hannigan and Vice President for Inclusion, Heather Lobban-Viravong will present the awards.

The Beloved Community Celebrations and Awards Presentations and Reception took place on Tuesday, March 25, in the Schellhase Commons.
