Ursinus Forms Graduate Partnership with Neumann University

Ursinus College and Neumann University have announced a new graduate studies affiliation agreement that will provide Ursinus students the opportunity to pursue advanced degrees at Neumann upon graduation.

As part of the agreement, Neumann will offer guaranteed admission to select graduate programs for Ursinus students. These programs include athletic training, forensic accounting and cybercrime, business and organizational leadership, cybersecurity, education, forensic psychology, and sport business.

“This partnership between Neumann University and Ursinus College enhances the strengths of both institutions, opening up more pathways for students interested in continuing their question-shaping and problem-solving liberal arts education,” Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Kelly Sorensen said. “Exciting career opportunities are ahead for students who pursue these pathways.”

Under the agreement, Neumann will reserve three guaranteed admission spots for Ursinus students with a minimum 3.0 GPA to the in-demand programs. Additionally, two interview spots will be available for Ursinus students who meet the admission standards for Neumann’s Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs.

“Today’s students know that their path to professional success in meaningful careers does not hinge on one particular credential but on the thoughtful building of a lifelong learning experience,” said Gundolf Graml, provost and senior vice president for academic and campus life. “With this partnership, Ursinus College and Neumann University offer their students a wide range of opportunities to do just that.”

This is the ninth graduate partnership established by Ursinus, and the second this academic year, following a partnership with West Chester University that offers master’s degrees in six health sciences fields.
