From Psychology Class Research to Peer-Reviewed Study

In the spring of 2021, Julianna Berardi ’21 and Emily Jobson ’21 began working with Dr. Mora Reinka on a research project in Advanced Research Methods.  What began as a class project looking at the effect of racial marginalization on self confidence in personal health management turned into a published, peer-reviewed study in The Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research.  In addition, the journal awarded the authors their Diversity Badge for conducting research focusing on aspects of diversity.  Congratulations to Emily, Julianna and Dr. Reinka on this well-deserved recognition for your important work!
