Shallot Smith: A Sci-Fi Play

The Project:
“I wrote a sci-fi play about a girl who lives on the moon. I think that some of the themes are interesting and novel. My work touches upon the isolation of space travel and the feeling of being stuck somewhere you don’t belong.”

The Impact:
“I’m glad I was able to take my sci-fi ideas and make them into something concrete. I wrote a sci-fi scene in the fall of 2019 and I really liked it. Other people seemed to enjoy it as well. I needed to do something for my independent study, so I thought that expanding this scene into a full play would be fun!”
