Chemistry Professor co-authors article published in Inorganic Chemistry journal

On August 3rd, the ACS’s Inorganic Chemistry journal published an article co-authored by Dr. Amanda Reig of Ursinus College an Dr. Katherine Buettner of Gettysburg College entitled “DNA Cleavage by a De Novo Designed Protein-Titanium Complex”. The article demonstrates that the DFsc scaffold will stably bind with titanium and is protected from unwanted hydrolysis.
