Carver Wolfe ’21 secures prestigious fellowship in France

Carver Wolfe, an International Relations and French double major, has won a Summer Fellowship to study the effects of immigration and poverty on prostitution and sex trafficking in France.

After interning with Mouvement du Nid - an organization that seeks to combat violence against women in Strasbourg, France - Carver will spend the summer examining the effect of intersectional factors on prostitution and sex trafficking. Her research will focus on the particular case of France.

Carver will expand her Summer Fellows project into a senior honors thesis and her experience with gender analysis and research on human trafficking will prepare her for graduate study and/or international policy work.
