Ursinus at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund

Professor Johannes Karreth organized a trip for Model UN, Politics & International Relations students to visit the World Bank, Georgetown University and the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC on November 14.

A group of 30 Model United Nations students, Politics and International Relations students joined Professors Johannes Karreth and Rebecca Evans on a trip to Washington DC, where they were joined by Mary Atta-Dakwa (Class of 2018) and Paul Cottam (Class of 2019). The group toured the World Bank Group visitor center and explored the permanent exhibition. The group had lunch at Georgetown University, where they met with Dr. Eric Dunford, associate director of the Data Science Master’s program at the McCourt School of Public Policy. The group spent the afternoon at the International Monetary Fund with a briefing on the structure, policies and activities of the IMF.
