Shane Kowalski ’11 returns for reading
Kowalski, who will complete his MFA this August, read from recent work.
Kowalski’s return to campus included a pre-reading pizza party with several advanced creative writing students and a reading in Pfahler Auditorium with a question and answer session on his work. He also took questions about applying for MFA programs and his experiences at Cornell.
Kowalski, who is from Jamison, PA, will finish his MFA at Cornell this August. He was a finalist for the Creative Writing Scholarship in 2007, its second year of existence. You can learn more about Kowalski’s work from his blog, available here.
The event was part of an annual series sponsored by Writing and Arts House. Prior years’ guests include Shane’s classmate Robert Whitehead, who earned his MFA in poetry from Washington University.
