“Flipping Cards” are a special use case of the card layout used for select purposes on the Ursinus site and they are powered by profiles.

The basic building blocks of a flipping card are simple with content on the front and back of each card as illustrated in the example below.

Front of Flipping Card

  • Header: Internship Opportunities
  • Title: Berman Museum of Art
  • Image

Back of Flipping Card

  • Header (same as front): Internship Opportunities
  • Headline: Work at an accredited art museum…
  • Content: Students who are passionate about…
  • Button link: Learn More (default label, optional)

flipping Card layout options

There is only one widget for flipping cards; the sizing and display of the cards is dependent on the content area in which the widget is placed.

You can add as many cards as you like, but they won’t all be displayed at once; 2 at a time will be shown in content-width areas like this one, and 3 at a time will be shown in full width areas (as seen below this section) and 1 in the sidebar (as seen in the sidebar section).

Slider

  • If there are more cards than fit in the content area, a slider will automatically appear below the cards.
  • You can control whether or not you’d like to use the slider by adjusting the “max” number to display.
