Transfer Application Deadlines

Most successful transfer candidates have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are students in good standing at their previous college or university.

Our Transfer Scholarships

Phi Theta Kappa: $43,000/yearTransfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society will receive a $43,000/year merit scholarship.


MCCC: $38,000/yearMontgomery County Community College graduates who achieve a 3.0 cumulative GPA in their Associates Degree will be awarded a $38,000/year merit scholarship.


Transfer Ursinus Scholarship: $30,000/yearAll students are reviewed for eligibility to receive up to $30,000/year.

Transfer Transparency: 60% off tuition guarantee

Students transferring from a two- or four-year accredited institution with an associate degree or 64 equivalent credits are guaranteed to receive a scholarship covering at least 60% of their Ursinus tuition.

Were you previously admitted to Ursinus?

If you were previously admitted to Ursinus for fall 2024 and decide you’d like to transfer to Ursinus during your first year at another institution, we will honor the merit scholarship you were awarded at the time of your first-year acceptance.

**While we cannot guarantee previously awarded tuition exchange, you can reapply for tuition exchange if you are still eligible through your home institution. Specialty scholarships are excluded, and need-based aid previously awarded is subject to change based on your updated SAI as determined by the FAFSA.
