All students interested in the law are encouraged to join the Haines Barnard Pre Legal Society.
The Pre-Law Society is an extracurricular organization that is led by student participation in coordination with and as advised by the Pre-Law Coordinator. The group works to put on programming, such as hosting lawyer alumni to speak about their area of the law, speaking with the representatives from the Law School Admission Counsil about the LSAT (the Law School Admission Test), and welcoming prospective students to learn about Pre-Law opportunities. Each year four students are appointed to help lead the Society and work closely with the Pre-Law Coordinator to facilitate programming and create new opportunities.
