Learning Goals

  • Construct understanding from diverse facts and observations
  • Identify and assess ethical issues in Neuroscience
  • Use computer software to acquire, analyze, and convert data to graphical formats
  • Analyze data including the application of basic statistics
  • Develop competence in laboratory research abilities in Psychology and Biology based fields

  • Locate and identify forms of scientific writing, including research reports, reviews, and scientific journalism
  • Write research reports and literature reviews that are comprehensive, clear, and concise
  • Create and deliver an effective oral presentation with appropriate visual aids

Students will gain broad knowledge in Neuroscience in aspects of neurological function and dysfunction at the molecular, cellular, behavioral, cognitive, and clinical levels.
