Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in performing arts administration, music therapy, music technology, music business, and graduate research.
Ursinus offers a Bachelor of Arts in Music with three concentration areas:
- music technology and creation
- music history and culture
- music theory and cognition
Students can also minor in music with an emphasis in any concentration. Prospective students can also explore the Performing Arts Scholarship.
Instrumentalists and vocalists will find a welcoming community in the department. Ursinus provides exciting opportunities to perform and tour, including visits and master classes with professional musicians. Students can express and develop their musical talents through various performances, from Rockefeller Center to a Philadelphia Phillies games.
