Select areas of concentration within the Department also prepare students for careers in public health, teaching health and physical education (K-12), or for employment as a wellness-fitness professional.
Concentrations & Minors
Majors in Health Sciences (HS) select a concentration in Allied Science, Public Health or Teacher Certification.
Students interested in Allied Health fields engage in project-based, hands-on classes and field experiences with an emphasis on an in-depth understanding of the human body.
