On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Ursinus College will host the Accounting and Finance Student Conference. This event, sponsored by the MidAtlantic Council IMA, is open to students and administrators from colleges and universities across the Philadelphia region. It offers a hands-on opportunity to explore nontraditional career paths in the accounting and finance fields and learn about the skills needed to take on an entrepreneurial venture, all while networking with local business leaders.

The Business and Economics department offers majors in Economics or Finance and minors in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Management Studies. Students learn to apply economic theory to real-life situations, analyze data, write effectively, and make compelling presentations.

Nearly all of Economics and Finance majors complete internships, giving them an edge in the job market. Graduates pursue careers in supply chain, business analytics, finance, marketing, accounting, and public administration, with employers like JP Morgan Chase, TD Bank, Vanguard, SEI, Amazon, and Clemens Food Group. Some continue advanced studies in economics, law, and business, while others start their own businesses, inspired by U-Imagine! The Center for Integrative and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Our curriculum emphasizes both analytical and soft skills, enabling graduates to advance to leadership positions in their organizations and professions.
