Geralee Wood
Dr. Wood comes to Ursinus with 35 years of teaching experience. During those years she taught students from kindergarten to graduate school. She has worked in public education both as a Reading Specialist and an ELA classroom teacher. Dr. Wood has taught pre-service educators at Rowan University and supervised student teachers at Cabrini University. Her doctoral dissertation explored middle school ELA teachers’ decision making as it pertained to the key elements of effective adolescent literacy programs as outlined in Reading Next: A Vision for Action and Research in Middle School and High School Literacy.
