Quentin Altemose

Scientific researcher specializing in biology, physics, and biomedical engineering. Currently, he is on hiatus as PhD student conducting research at Cornell University, but his research focuses on protein synthesis and the use of proteins for drug delivery and antimicrobial applications. He is also the CEO and founder of Spirochete Brewing Inc, a venture focusing on producing novel food and beverage products backed by his scientific innovation, as well as exciting new technologies for the industry and beyond.

BEAR Innovation 2022 Highlights
This year we had 12 student participants with a broad range of majors and class years. We drew participants from class years, including 2 seniors, 6 juniors, and 4 freshmen. We are excited that we had greater participation from younger students and look forward to their continued engagement with the U-Imagine Center. We are profoundly grateful for the unwavering support of Will Abele ’61, who through his gracious generosity provides this engaging experience for Ursinus students.
