Abby Kluchin specializes in Continental philosophy, with emphases in feminist theory, psychoanalysis, and poststructuralism. Deeply committed to liberal education in a variety of contexts, Abby is also co-founder and Associate Director At Large of the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, an experimental school that conducts seminar-style courses in non-traditional spaces throughout New York City. She co-hosts Ordinary Unhappiness, a podcast about “psychoanalysis, politics, pop culture, and the ways we suffer now,” in partnership with Parapraxis magazine.
