Lori Scharneck

Lori came to Ursinus in 1980 to work in the Office of the Academic Dean and did so until 1983 when she moved to the Registrar’s Office.  In 2002 she transferred to the biology department where she has served as the departmental administrative assistant ever since.  Her vast administrative experience is also utilized in her roles in the pre-health program, the Common Intellectual Experience, and the Center for Science and the Common Good.

Hannigan, Ph.D., was officially installed as the 19th president of Ursinus College on Friday, October 14, in the Floy Lewis Bakes Center Field House during a ceremony that reaffirmed the college’s commitment to the liberal arts and sciences, and established initiatives designed to build on the college’s 153-year history and move it forward as “One Ursinus.”
