About

I wanted to work with the Teaching and Learning Institute because of my desire to be a college professor after I earn a PhD. I strongly believe that a strong understanding of educational pedagogy is the most important factor to being the best teacher that you can be, and if I am going to be in a position as a professor to help and guide students on the path to a brighter future then I am obligated to do that to the best of my ability. There is no reason I should wait until I am a professor to learn how to educate properly! As the classic saying goes, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is today.”
