Dr. Leah H. Joseph received a B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of Rochester, and both a M.S. and Ph.D. in Oceanography: Marine Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She loves being out in the field and recently had the opportunity to teach out at sea on a month-long expedition as part of the JR Academy. Dr. Joseph has also worked on the curation and organized the display of the 1600+ specimen “Pieces of Earth’s History” mineral & fossil collection in Pfahler Hall.
