What do you love most about Ursinus?

The thing I love most about Ursinus is the small school feel of the campus/community. Aside from just being close to classes, dining options, dorm rooms, sports complexes, etc, the Ursinus community is unique as it feels like everybody knows everybody! Seeing familiar faces, running into friends while walking, having classes with people you know are small factors that make Ursinus really feel like a family.

What opportunities have you had to explore and grow your passions at Ursinus?

Being able to balance so many interests of mine was of high importance to me when coming to Ursinus. Taking rigorous courses that would prepare me for a career and life after college, competing in sports at a high level with my friends, and working multiple jobs that I am passionate about to embrace the Ursinus community has provided me with experiences that I am thankful for as it may be unlikely to achieve at other institutions.

When did you first discover Ursinus was the right fit for you?

I discovered Ursinus was the right fit for me once I noticed all of the opportunities it had to give. Providing me with the opportunity to be a student-athlete, work multiple on-campus jobs, and connect with a large group of friends/teammates/coworkers made the transition from high school to Ursinus enjoyable and exciting.

What has been your favorite experience at Ursinus so far?

My favorite experience at Ursinus so far has been being a part of the the Men’s Tack and Field team and contributing to the team’s success over the past 3 years (Centennial Conference Champions). Having the opportunity to compete in a sport I love with my friends on top of being successful has allowed me to build long-lasting memories.

Advice for incoming students:

The biggest piece of advice I have for incoming students would be to get involved! There are so many opportunities to leave your mark on campus and be a part of organizations and events that will expand your network and allow you to create connections with your peers.
