Delta Phi Epsilon
Delta Phi Epsilon, also known as DPhiE, is an international sorority and part of the National Panhellenic Conference. The Delta Phi Epsilon sorority was founded in 1917 at New York University School of Law and is guided by three core values: justice, sisterhood, and love. The sorority’s motto is “Esse Quam Videri” which means “to be, rather than to seem to be.” The sisters of DPhiE around the world strive to live by these values and motto every day. The Zeta Xi Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon at Ursinus College was chartered in 2024, proudly joining over 110 active chapters throughout the United States and Canada. DPhiE is committed to our philanthropic partners: the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), and the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.
