Pets on Campus Policy

Ursinus has a pets on campus policy that permits employees to have their dog (but not other animals) inside their private office if they sign and agree to abide by the terms of a dog agreement, and so long as there are no health and safety concerns raised by others in the building and the dog is not disruptive to the regular work environment. The pets on campus policy includes buildings and spaces where dogs are prohibited, and offices and departments may set rules for pets and animals that are no less stringent than set forth in the policy. The policy has been approved by the President’s Council to move beyond the pilot phase and is now an official policy of the college (subject to revision). We remind all faculty and staff to please read through the policy, to follow the guidelines, and to complete an application for any new dogs that you may want to bring to campus.
